6. HOW TO MAKE “5 point” DIAMOND CHECKER TREAD PLATE CONFORM TO NFPA & ULC CHEVRON STANDARDS?
Some manufacturers have used anti-skid tread plate (5-star) on upright surfaces requiring chevrons.
Nothing is guaranteed to adhere over these products, including CHEK.R.POINTS.
There is one cost efficient solution: Add an aesthetic pattern of thin aluminum panels over two or more sections of the tread plate. The idea is to cover at least 50% of the overall rear surface. Aluminum screws or pop-rivets can be used to attach the aluminum. Screws allow easy removal for periodic cleaning of dirt or calcium during winter.

These must be custom made and are of OEM quality tarp material, with Reflexite Bunker gear reflective striping overlaid. Extremely bright and resistant. They can be sewn over your present cover, or attached with Velcro or grommets and turn key locks.
